Spring Around the Corner

Spring is around the corner, What are your nice weather plans? Well, as for myself, it is to stay working on the railroad as much as I can with the hopes for next fall and winter I can be having small operating sessions. But there is more to it than the operating sessions.

Once I get the basement layout trackwork done and I am on the way to working on scenery, I am hoping by next year to be working on aquiring and building a G scale layout in our yard.

While I no longer like spending lots of time outside when it is hot & humid, I now have this great hobby again to keep me in the cool all year long.

What are your longterm Model Railroad goals?

Without goals, then this is just a simple hobby of watching trains go round and round. However, if you have long term goals, it becomes an all inclusive hobby.

Do you have a small 4'x8' layout and you want to expand it and possibly get into operations?

Well do some research and put that goal on the list. With this Great hobby, our goals and likes and needs can be almost endless.

So sit down, make a list of short term and long term goals and get yourself in touch more with this hobby.
