Crummy Weather Time

As fall is well underway, the time spent outdoors is less and less for most of us. Time is spent more indoors. This can effect all of us differently. Some get excited about the holidays coming up, some get excited about being able to work on the model railroad more. But despite the positives, this time of year can take it's toll on all of us both physically, but more so mentally. As you read this, take a moment and reflect on the last year. Think of the positive times, but don't neglect the bad times as, the bad times make the good times worth it that much more.

I am writing this because a lot have hard times with the holidays. I know I have had my fair struggles in the past around the holidays. Please remember if your get in your slumps, that there is a community that you can reach out to and get support. That is yet another great thing about this hobby.

In closing, before I get off of my soap box, remember that this hobby is, in a lot of ways, an out for those that struggle throughout the years. So help out and support those that need it.
