This layout is to helpful with episode 68 rebuilding. Going through my last 2 designs I stayed with this 3rd design based on 2 things I wanted

I've always enjoyed running trains continuously but also wanted the enjoyment of operations. I also noticed a lot of frustration with creating a story for a freelance railroad, so I stuck with the KCS since it's a railroad near to my heart. Also I wanted something that was never modeled. Remember never be afraid to take down and rebuild a layout until your satisfied with what you want. Here are some photos from my first layout to the current one.
